Properties:

Pure carbendazim is a white crystal powder, while the technical is gray or brownish powder, begins sublime at 215-217, melts over 290, its decomposition is 306. Insoluble in water, slightly soluble in acetone, chloroform and some other organic solvents. Soluble in inorganic acids and acetic acid, meantime forming salts. Its chemical properties are stable.

Uses:

Carbendazim is a systemic broad-spectrum fungicide controlling a wide range of pathogens; it also can be use as a preservative in textile, papermaking, leathers, and painter industry as well as a preservative of fruits.

Toxicity: Low toxic, acute oral LD50 to mice is more than 10000mg/kg.
